These pretty dark inky blue/purple petals are from a cottage garden classic the delphinium, grown here in the UK by a British flower farm. The flowers have been grown, picked, and dried at their best to ensure that their gorgeous inky blues have been preserved in the best way.
Inspired to create a floral piece that will last for an exceptionally long time, Lizzy has chosen these petals that have a rich pigment that once dry the petals retain their colour for a long time. She then takes the best dried flower petals and encapsulates them into the smooth, clear handblown glass so that you can see the petals at their best.
